About the Conference
The 30th Anniversary Meeting of the Petrology Group of the Mineralogical Society of Poland in 2025 will be held under the theme „How Can Mineralogical Sciences Support the Mineral Resources Industry?” Our goal is to create a platform for dialogue between academia and the mineral resources industry to present new trends in mineral exploration and raw materials recovery from secondary sources. Such meetings are particularly important in the context of the European Union strategy for establishing new sources of mineral raw materials for a changing economy. Traditionally, the Conference will be a place for mineralogists and petrologists to meet and integrate, and to exchange their experiences during general sessions. The conference will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Polish Institute of Geological Sciences of the University of Wrocław.
Organizers
The organizers of the Conference of the Mineralogical Society of Poland in 2025 are the University of Wrocław and the Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute, which serves as the National Geological Survey in Poland.
